ABOUT MICHELE SAULSON

A jewelry designer based out of Michigan, who loves ethnic and vintage inspired jewelry.

Michele has always been known by those close to her for her interesting sense of style and sensibility. From an early age, Michele noticed and was inspired by the travels and stories of her great aunts and grandparents. Her eye was attracted to the baubles of these women and she developed a passion for travel as well.

Art lessons turned to delving deeper into study of art history, overseas travel and degrees in Interior Design and Historic Preservation. This led to careers in these fields, while in her spare time Michele was always creating, painting, crafting and tinkering.

Timing is everything. After some classes in jewelry making led Michele to making beautiful gifts for friends and family, orders started pouring in. She loved the process of hunting for vintage pieces, gemstones and unique finds to transform into works of art. A business was born.

Michele’s designs currently combine metal, stone, glass, African beads and interesting components that she scours the marketplace to find. Her work has transformed along the way to reflect personal taste and styles.

Michele’s work has been featured in numerous publications. Her pieces are available in boutiques. Her pieces are in the collections of Reese Witherspoon, Kelly Clarkson, Selma Blair, Robin Roberts, Gayle King, Katie Couric, Kristen Bauer and Pauley Perette.
